Hélène Plemiannikov (* 1936 ) is a French film editor who gained her importance primarily through her editing of several late works by the director Luis Buñuel .

Hélène Plemiannikov, daughter of a French diplomat who died the year after she was born, grew up in several places in France with her brother, who later became film director Roger Vadim . She came to film through her brother in the late 1950s and, after completing her training as a fitter , was employed as a film editor in the 1960s. After several short films, she edited the German Christmas television series in 1964, Robinson Crusoe .
