Darryl Hérold Goulon (born June 12, 1988 in Paris ) is a French football player .

Career

After years of youth in Parisian football clubs, Goulon was selected to visit the Center technique national Fernand-Sastre , the center of excellence of the French football association , in 2002 . In 2004 he moved to the youth of the French champions Olympique Lyon , until he won a contract with FC Middlesbrough in the English Premier League in 2006 , where he aroused great expectations. There he only played in the reserve team.

During the winter break at the beginning of 2009, he moved back to France, to FC Le Mans in Ligue 1 . There he made it into the starting eleven during the second half of the season and played 26 league games in the following season. 2010 brought a personal and professional slump: In the spring he was sentenced to a fine and eight months in prison for assault and insulting his girlfriend. At the end of the season, his club was relegated and Goulon waived a contract extension.

It was not so easy to find a new club - it was not until October of that year that the Blackburn Rovers signed up for the English Premier League. There he only came to four short assignments in the 2010/11 season. At the end of the season, a move was suggested to him. After a long trial training session in the summer of 2011, 1. FC Köln decided against their commitment. Goulon then only played in the reservist league for Blackburn. In autumn 2011 there was a short-term loan to the English second division club Doncaster Rovers .

After his contract expired, Goulon was again without a club at the end of the 2011/12 season, this time for a full year. At the beginning of the 2013/14 season he was signed to the Polish first division club Zawisza Bydgoszcz . In early 2015 he moved to the Cypriot league for Omonia Nicosia , and in early 2016 in the first Romanian league for FC Viitorul Constanța .
