Höfendorf is a district of the municipality Rangendingen in the Zollernalbkreis in Baden-Württemberg ( Germany ). The place is north of Rangendingen.

history

Höfendorf is one of the oldest possessions of the Hohenzollern family . In 1098, Count Adalbert von Zollern gave the Alpirsbach monastery properties in Höfendorf. The manorial rule was originally with the Haigerloch rule and came with this in 1497 to the county of Zollern.

Höfendorf and Bietenhausen were incorporated into Rangendingen on April 1, 1972.
