The Höfle Glacier is a wide glacier in the Shackleton Range , part of the Transantarctic Mountains in the Coatsland east of the Filchner-Ronne Ice Shelf . From the Clarkson Cliffs, it flows north between Morris Hills and Lewis Chain towards the Slessor Glacier .

The glacier was named in the Antarctic summer of 1987/1988 along with other previously unnamed geographic objects by participants in the GEISHA expedition ( Geological Expedition into the Shackleton Range ) of the Alfred Wegener Institute . This and seven other name suggestions from GEISHA were together with seven suggestions from the expeditions GANOVEX V and VII on 9/10. Confirmed in May 1994 by the German State Committee for the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR) and for the International Arctic Science Committee (ISAC) and reported to the SCAR.
