Hösacker is a district of the municipality of Weng in the Landshut district in Bavaria .

geography

The village of Hösacker is located directly between the Landshut , Dingolfing-Landau and Straubing-Bogen district triangle .

Together with the villages of Weng, Hörmannsdorf, Hinzlbach, Veitsbuch, Raffach, Leinbach, it belongs to the municipality of Weng (administrative municipality of Wörth an der Isar ). With 234 inhabitants at the 1987 census, Hösacker was the largest town in the former municipality of Veitsbuch .

Other neighboring villages are Mühlhausen (Mengkofen) and Dreifaltigkeitsberg ( Dingolfing-Landau district ).

With its 478 m above sea level. M. it is located on a small mountain dome between the Isar valley and the Aiterach valley . The village is surrounded by agricultural fields and coniferous forests.

history

  • 1806 Landlord Josef von Ernestie from Hörmansdorf sold parts of his forest land and let people live on it. The first Hösackerer was a wandering tin caster named Heller.
  • 1809 Johann Dörr (later Hiebl) was the first to be born in Hösacker (May 23).
  • In 1810 there were already 20 huts.
  • In 1816, Count Karl Arco von Oberköllnbach bought the colony. Six families remained in the old association - this was called Freihausen since 1881. They belonged to the court clerk Kilian Edelbacher.
  • 1840 Franz Winzinger builds a beer bar (later Gasthaus Weber).
  • 1876 ​​Veitsbuch volunteer fire brigade is founded
  • In 1860 a chapel was built called Chapel Maria Immaculata . The neo-Gothic chapel has a striking red exterior.
  • 1928/29 Hösacker gets an electricity connection and a central water supply. Thus the 30 m deep individual wells have had their day.
  • In 1953 (July 18) a hailstorm raged. All houses had severe hail damage. A sawmill was built in Dreifaltigkeitsberg to work on the wood damage that occurred.
  • In 1964, Hösacker received an asphalt road.

Since the territorial reform in 1971, Hösacker has belonged to the municipality of Weng in the Landshut district. Previously it was divided into three municipalities and two districts.
