Hüpede ( Huiptsche in Low German ) is located in the Calenberger Land and is a district of the city of Pattensen in the Hanover region in Lower Saxony .

The village is located southwest of Pattensen and is connected to the city center via the L402.

history

Hüpede was mentioned in a document as Hupida as early as 1033. The name is a derivation of a word stem in Middle Low German 'hūpe' "pile" and means "place on or on the hill". The name Oride appears for today's Oerie in this document from 1033. Hüpede has belonged to the city of Pattensen since March 1st, 1974.

There is a diverse sports club, the Hüpede and Oerie game association . The respective activities take place in the sports hall and on the sports field. The sporting successes of the divisions are often reported in the regional newspapers.
