HoS (Abbreviation for Harvester of Sorrow ) is an Italian thrash metal band from Lonigo , which was formed in 2006.
history
The band was formed in 2006. After the first appearances and a demo in 2008, the line-up of the band changed. The guitarist Dado also took over the vocals. The other members of the band were guitarist Cetz, drummer Pedro and bassist Millo. The band then wrote new songs and continued to perform before the 2011 debut album The Beginning on Punishment 18 Records . After the release, the band went on tour through Europe , playing in Poland , Germany , the Netherlands and Belgium and performing with groups such as Whiplash , Vendetta , Fingernails and Ancillotti .
style
According to Sebastian Paulus from Metal Hammer , the music on The Beginning offers classic Thrash Metal that is full of clichés, fun and beer. The style is a mixture of sodom , early anthrax and municipal waste . The production that brings the guitars and drums to the fore is reminiscent of that of the Metallica albums with Flemming Rasmussen . The vocals are below average for a thrash metal band.
