Amelie Glienke
Amelie Glienke (* 1945 in Berlin ) is a German painter , graphic artist , caricaturist and illustrator .
Career
Glienke studied painting, free graphics and visual communication at the Berlin University of the Arts and finished her studies in 1975 as a master class student. Since then she has been working as a freelance graphic artist, children's book illustrator and cartoonist and comic artist.
Under the pseudonym HOGLI, she signs caricatures and cartoons, which mostly appear in newspapers and magazines of the more left-wing spectrum, but z. Some were also published as independent books. Her illustrations for the children's and youth book series Der kleine Vampir by Angela Sommer-Bodenburg , which has been reprinted and translated many times, also contributed to her popularity .
Amelie Glienke has two children.
