The Hague Treaty is a treaty concluded on April 12, 1433, in which the Jacobea of ​​Bavaria transferred the Dutch territories of the Duchy of Straubing-Holland to Philip of Burgundy . Philip, who was born by Jakobäa's uncle Johann III. had been installed as heir against her will, had her husband Frank van Borselen captured and demanded that the areas claimed by Jacobea be released. Jakobäa had already fought for the counties of Holland , Zeeland , Hainaut and Friesland since the death of her father Wilhelm II in 1417, first with her uncle Johann and then with Philipp, whom she had to appoint as heir in the Delft Reconciliation Treaty in 1428 , but now had to face it Defeat the Duke of Burgundy.
