Career

societies

Beginnings

The son of Moroccan immigrants began his career at US Reggio Calcio ASD , where he served until 2008. He then moved to AC Reggiana and in 2012 at the age of 14 for the record fee of 850,000 euros in the youth of AC Milan.

AC Milan

Mastour showed good performances early on in the youth of Milan, so that he was called to the first team at the age of 15 and was able to train with them. At this point he could have played for the senior team in competitive games, but this has not yet happened. On June 15, 2014, his 16th birthday, he signed a professional contract with AC Milan, which caused an international sensation due to his young age.

Málaga CF

At the end of August 2015, Mastour switched to the Spanish first division club FC Málaga for two years on loan . On July 7, 2016, the loan was canceled early after only one game in the line-up. Mastour then returned to AC Milan.

PEC Zwolle

For the 2016/17 season , Mastour was awarded to PEC Zwolle in the Dutch Eredivisie in order to gain match practice there. Here, too, Mastour only got 5 missions.

PAS Lamia 1964

After Mastour had been without a club for two months, it was announced on September 5, 2018 that the Greek first division club PAS had signed Lamia Mastour. On March 4, 2019, he left the team because he was treated in Italy after a serious injury. Doctors in Italy diagnosed a more serious injury than doctors in Greece, so Mastour opted for treatment in his native Italy.

Urbs Reggina 1914

In October 2019, Mastour joined Urbs Reggina 1914 .

National team

Mastour played seven times for the U16 team of the Italian Football Association . On March 11, 2014, he scored the goal to equalize 1-1 in the 76th minute of the 2-1 win against Croatia. At the beginning of June 2015, he decided against his country of birth and thus for the Moroccan Football Association . On June 12, 2015, he made his debut in the 1-0 win against Libya in the Moroccan national team . This was Mastour's only appearance in the Morocco national team to date.

Clublessness

In 2018 and 2019, Mastour was twice without a club. The first time for two months after his loan from AC Milan to PEC Zwolle. The Milanese did not extend the Mastours contract any further. From March to October 2019 Mastour was again without a club because the contract with PAS Lamia had been terminated.
