Hackern is a district and hamlet of the Illschwang municipality in the Amberg-Sulzbach district in Upper Palatinate in Bavaria .

Hackern is located in the northern part of the Illschwang municipality.
The AS 3 crosses the hamlet and runs west towards Fürnried , east it ends at the St 2164 .
To the north-northeast of Hackern is Frankenhof ( Illschwang ), to the east is Aichazandt (Illschwang), to the south-south-east is Mörswinkl (Illschwang) and to the south-west is Höfling ( Birgland ).
history
Hackern was incorporated into Illschwang in 1972 as a district of the former Angfeld community .
