The Hainzenspitze , also Heinzenspitze , is 2930  m above sea level. A. high mountain peak of the Lasörling group in the Venediger group in East Tyrol ( Austria ). It is located in the north-west of East Tyrol in the municipality of St. Jakob in Defereggen , south of the municipality border with Prägraten am Großvenediger . The Hainzenspitze was first climbed on July 15, 1896 by L. Purtscheller, on that day Purtscheller descended over the east ridge and subsequently made the first ascent of the Kesselpater .

The Hainzenspitze lies in the west of the Lasörling group and has a west, east and south ridge. The four-step west ridge falls to the Neue Reichenberger Hütte or the Bödensee , the long south ridge to the Trojeralm in the Trojeralm valley . The east ridge leads to the neighboring Kesselpater ( 2985  m above sea level ), with the Hainzenscharte ( 2875  m above sea level ) separating the two peaks. To the north is the Gösleswand , to the northwest the Bachlenkkopf .

Promotion opportunities

The normal route to the Hainzenspitze starts at the Neue Reichenberger Hütte, whereby the refuge can be reached from Ströden in the north (municipality of Prägraten) via the Dabertal or Großbachtal or from the south from the Trojeralmtal (municipality of St. Jakob). From the Neue Reichenberger Hütte the further ascent leads along the west ridge to the summit ( both I ). Another possibility of ascent is via the east ridge, where the ascent is initially through the Finsterkar into the Hainzenscharte and the further ascent leads over the east ridge.
