Hakan Salt (born September 8, 2000 ) is a Turkish ice hockey player who has been under contract with Cheyenne Stampede in the Western States Hockey League since 2016. His older brother Kaan is also a Turkish national ice hockey player.

Career

Hakan Salt began his career as a hockey player with Boğaziçi Paten Kulübü , for whom he made his debut in the Turkish second division in 2014. In 2015 he moved to Zeytinburnu Belediye SK in the Turkish Super League , with which he became Turkish champion in 2016 . From there he ventured across the pond in 2016 and has since played for Cheyenne Stampede in the Western States Hockey League, a US youth league.

International

Turkey Salt took at junior level at the U18 World Championships in 2015 and 2016 and to the U20 World Championships in 2016 and 2017 , when he became the second top scorer after the Chinese Rudi Ying and the third best scorer for Ying and his compatriot Ou Li significantly to the rise in the Division II contributed, each participating in Division III.

With the men's national team he played for the first time at the World Cup of Division III in 2016 , where he was promoted to Division II.
