Kaan Salt (born September 21, 1999 ) is a Turkish ice hockey player who has been under contract with Zeytinburnu Belediye SK in the Turkish Super League since 2015 . His younger brother Hakan is also a Turkish national ice hockey player.

Career

Kaan Salt began his career as a hockey player with Boğaziçi Paten Kulübü , for whom he made his debut in the Turkish second division in 2013. In 2015 he moved to Zeytinburnu Belediye SK in the Turkish Super League , for which he has played since then. In 2015 and 2016 he became Turkish champions with the club .

International

For Turkey, Salt took part in the U18 World Championships in 2014 , 2015 and 2016 as well as in the U20 World Championships in 2015 and 2016 in Division III.

With the men's national team , he played for the first time at the World Cup of Division III in 2016 , where he was promoted to Division II and he was named the best player on his team.
