Halfdan E Nielsen (born November 21, 1965 in Copenhagen , Denmark ) is a Danish composer .

Life

Halfdan E played bass in several rock bands before studying music at Det Kongelige Danske Conservatory of Music . He met the Danish filmmaker Per Fly , for whom he composed his first film music in 1993 with the short film Kalder Katrine . He was nominated for the Danish Robert Film Award a total of five times . For Okay , Das Erbe und Homicide - In the Vicious Cycle of Violence , he was honored for the best film music .

Together with the writer Dan Turèll , he founded the crossover project Pas På Pengene . They released two albums and won two Danish Music Awards .
