The Hallam Peak is a 900 m high, distinctive and rocky mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Kukri Hills, it rises between the heads of the Von Guerard and Aiken glaciers and offers an unobstructed view of Lake Fryxell in the Taylor Valley .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1997 to the geographer Cheryl A. Hallam of the United States Geological Survey , who worked in Antarctica in four summer campaigns between 1994 and 2000 .
