The Halsalm is an alpine pasture in the Forst Hintersee district in Ramsau near Berchtesgaden .

The Doppelkaser of the Halsalm is a listed building and is registered in the Bavarian Monument List under the number D-1-72-129-66 .

Building description

The Doppelkaser of the Halsalm is a single-storey, combed block construction over a rubble stone base with a shingle-covered flat saddle roof . The ridge purlin is marked with the year 1896.

Todays use

The Alm is still used for agriculture by the farmer of the Lacklehens in Ramsau. After a stay at the Kallbrunnalm, the cows are not driven to the Halsalm until late summer, from where the cattle drive takes place at the beginning of October . The Alm is open from around mid-June.

location

The Halsalm is located above the Hintersee on the eastern foothills of the Reiter Alm at an altitude of 1210  m above sea level. NN north under the head of the neck.
