Player career
society
Zıvalıoğlu began his career in 1985 at Trabzonspor , where he also had his most successful period. He quickly fought for a regular place and played with Trabzonspor for the top places in the table. The highlight of his playing career is reaching third place in the table and the cup final with his team in the 1989/90 season . However, Zıvalıoğlu himself had little part in this success, as he lost his regular place this season and only came to six missions.
He later played for Malatyaspor , Bafraspor in 1930 , Erzurumspor , Çaykur Rizespor , Trabzon Telekomspor and most recently for Akçaabat Sebatspor .
National team
With the Turkish U-21 national team Zıvalıoğlu took part in the U-21 European Championship in 1988 , but had to retire in the preliminary round. Then he ran two more times for the Olympic team .
Coaching career
After retiring, Zıvalıoğlu began working as a coach and coached Trabzonspor youth teams for several years. After several stops in between, he landed at 1461 Trabzon in 2011, at that time still as assistant coach. In 2013 he became assistant coach at Trabzonspor behind Mustafa Reşit Akçay .
After the coach of 1461 Trabzon Ekrem Al was released from his post due to unsuccessfulness on September 29, 2014, Zıvalıoğlu took over the coaching post on the 7th matchday of the third division season 2014/15 . 1461 Trabzon was at this time in 14th place with six points.
Zıvalıoğlu brought the club back on the road to success, at the end of the season they reached fourth place in the table with 59 points, which 1461 Trabzon entitled to participate in the play-offs. In the play-offs 1461 Trabzon was able to prevail against Ümraniyespor , Pendikspor and in the final with 6: 4 on penalties against İnegölspor and thus achieved immediate promotion to the TFF 1.
