Hamza Çakır (born September 30, 1985 in Cologne ) is a German - Turkish soccer player .

Career

Çakır moved to the juniors of Fortuna Düsseldorf in 2000 . With the A-Juniors he played in the 2003/04 season in the newly founded U-19 Bundesliga . Since 2004 he played for Fortuna Düsseldorf, with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga .

In the summer of 2010 he moved to the Turkish Süper Lig at Kayserispor on a free transfer . After a year, however, he moved to league rivals Kardemir Karabükspor . After one and a half seasons for Karabükspor, he left this club at the turn of 2013 and faced a move to league rivals Sanica Boru Elazığspor . At the end of January he returned to Fortuna Düsseldorf's second team. After being out of a club on July 1, 2013, KFC Uerdingen 05 announced his commitment on January 30, 2014 . He has been playing for TSV Meerbusch since January 1st, 2016 .
