Hanna Thompson
Hanna Thompson (born November 1, 1983 in Rochester , New York ) is an American foil fencer.
Thompson won her first US fencing championship title in 2004 while she was still a student. In 2006 she graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in sociology and criminology and then focused entirely on her athletic career. At the Pan American Games in 2007 , she won the silver medal both individually and with the team. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , she finished 27th in the individual, with the team she won the silver medal.
