Götz von Langheim (born June 15, 1928 in Berlin ; † October 25, 2013 in Krems an der Donau ) was a German actor .

Life

Götz Freiherr von Langheim had served as an air force helper on the flak in the late phase of the World War and took acting lessons from his mother, the actress Helga Lundberg, shortly after the end of the war. In Düsseldorf , not yet 20 years old, he played under Gustaf Gründgens : engagements in Osnabrück , Trier , Kaiserslautern and Baden-Baden followed . At the Small Theater in the Zoo in Frankfurt am Main he was under the direction of Fritz Rémonds a . a. partner of Hans-Joachim Kulenkampff for several years . Further engagements brought him to the Hamburg stage, Theater im Zimmer and the Kleine Komödie . In the 70s and 80s he also appeared at the Vienna Burgtheater . Langheim's signed appearance and his aristocratic appearance allowed him to quickly grow into the role compartment and the compartment of elegant uniform wearers (such as officers).

In the mid-1950s, the first offers from film were added, and Langheim began working for television almost at the same time. Baron Langheim was married to the Swiss actress Blanche Aubry since 1959 .

Langheim has been committed to animal welfare and animal rights for decades: Among other things, he was president of the national umbrella organization "Central Association of Animal Welfare Associations Austria (ZTÖ)", founded in 1978, and a board member of the "Katzenheim Freudenau", because he was convinced that "the fact that there is a lot there are too few people who do something for other people "," no argument against the other fact "is" that there are even fewer people who in any way feel the need to do something for the animals.
