Hanne Egghardt

Hanne Egghardt ; also Hanne Egghardtov (* 1948 in Mariazell ), is an Austrian author , translator and journalist .

Life

Hanne Egghardt studied Turkish at the University of Istanbul and German at the University of Graz . From 1970 she was an editor for various Austrian daily newspapers and monthly magazines, including several years with the Viennese , where she was editor-in-chief from 1988 to 1989 .

Since 1992 she has worked as a freelance writer, essayist , screenwriter , court interpreter and translator for Turkish literature. She was also editor-in-chief of the Skylines in- flight magazine for Austrian Airlines .
