Hanne Goossens (born October 9, 1992 in Leuven ) is a Belgian chess player .

In Belgium she plays for Geelse SK . In Germany she plays in the women's team of the DJK Aufwärts St. Josef Aachen 1920 and in the French League National 2 Feminines for the Club d'Echecs de Fourmies .

successes

She won the Belgian women's individual championship four times: in 2009 in Namur- Saint-Servais, 2015 in Schelle , 2016 in Bütgenbach and 2018 in Charleroi- Roux.

For the Belgian women's national team, she played at four chess Olympiads : 2012 in Istanbul on the third board and 2014 in Tromsø , 2016 in Baku and 2018 in Batumi on the top board. They also participated in four European Team Championships for women in part: in 2013 in Warsaw on the second board, and in 2015 in Reykjavik , 2017 Hersonissos and 2019, in Batumi on top board.

Hanne Goossens has held the title of International Women's Champion (WIM) since September 2018 . She achieved the norms for this in February 2015 in the A group of the 6th Pfalz Open in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse , in April 2015 at the international tournament in Fagernes (with overachievement), at the European team championships in 2017 and at the Belgian individual championship in 2018.
