Hannes Sieberer

Hannes Sieberer (* 1951 in Schwaz ) is an Austrian former US - Agent in the GDR and was after his unmasking Bautzen -Häftling.

Life

Hannes Sieberer was from 1976 to 1982 under the code name "Kurt Klepp" agent leader of the US secret service Military Intelligence (MI) with deployment in the GDR . In 1982 he was arrested and sentenced to 15 years imprisonment for espionage in a particularly serious case, but in 1985 he was exchanged. He later studied political science at the University of Innsbruck , where he in 1990 Zdeněk Mlynář with the work intelligence services in international relations doctorate was.

Sieberer became a political advisor , parliamentary assistant and consultant in the State Secretariat of the Ministry of Social Affairs. He runs a family and men's counseling center.
