Hanns-Stephan Haas

Hanns-Stephan Haas (born December 29, 1958 ) is a German theologian , university professor and since 2008 chairman of the board of the Evangelical Foundation Alsterdorf in Hamburg .

Life

Hanns-Stephan Haas studied Protestant theology in Wuppertal , Tübingen , Erlangen and Lund . He completed his vicariate in a suburb of Mülheim an der Ruhr . Afterwards Haas was pastor at the Kreuzkirche in Bonn and most recently study inspector at the Adolf-Clarenbach-Haus in Bonn , during which he also received his doctorate at the university in 1990 . In 1990 he became pastor of the Gnadenkirche in Rheinbach . He received his professorship at the in the mid-1990sEvangelical University of Applied Sciences Hanover . From 1999 on he headed the Federal Academy for Church and Diakonia in Berlin and was also chairman of the management academy for Church and Diakonia in the capital. During this time he completed an MBA with a focus on general management and business administration at the University of St. Gallen . In 2005, Haas was the founding rector of the Diakonie University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld . In 2006 he completed his habilitation at the Bethel Church University , where he has since taught systematic theology and diaconal science as a private lecturer . In 2008 he took over the management of the Evangelical Foundation Alsterdorf in Hamburg.

Hanns-Stephan Haas is married for the second time and has five children.
