Hans-Christian Sarrazin

Hans-Christian Sarrazin (born March 3, 1914 in Speyer ; † October 12, 2013 in Recklinghausen ) was a German social medicine specialist and writer .

Life

Sarrazin began studying German in 1934 , but switched to medicine after a few semesters . During the Second World War he was a military doctor in France and Italy. In 1952, he was with a thesis on the wine in the therapy of the 19th century doctorate . After the war, Sarrazin was head of the social medicine department of a miners' hospital and medical expert for social courts. 1964/65 he was president of the Rotary Club Recklinghausen.

A first poem was published in the Deutsche Allgemeine Zeitung in 1937 .

He was married to the West Prussian landowner daughter Mechthild geb. von Fischer (1920–2014). His son is the politician and author Thilo Sarrazin .
