Hans-Dieter Wallschläger
Hans-Dieter Wallschläger , also Dieter Wallschläger (born July 13, 1947 in Grevesmühlen ) is a German biologist and genealogist .
Life
Wallschläger grew up in Güstrow . From 1966 to 1971 he studied zoology at Lomonosov University in Moscow . From 1971 he was scientifically active and did his doctorate and habilitation at the Humboldt University in Berlin under the direction of Günter Tembrock . In 1990 he was offered a professorship for ecoethology (Institute for Biochemistry and Biology) at the University of Potsdam . He has been an emeritus since 2012 .
He is an honorary member of the board of the Pommerschen Greif e. V. and its first chairman since 2013. Here he looks after the interests of this research on the genealogy and local knowledge Pomerania specialized association with regard to the former county Cammin i. Pom. by means of a database maintained by him and a large number of publications. He has also served as the chairman of the Cammin Home District Committee since 2002.
