Hans-Georg Dulz (born October 31, 1936 ) is a former German soccer player who won the German soccer championship with Eintracht Braunschweig in 1967 .

career

Oberliga, 1957 to 1963

"Schorsch" Dulz played from 1954 to 1957 at SV Dortmund 08 in the amateur field and got a contract for the Oberliga West for the 1957/58 round with the German champions of 1956 and 1957, Borussia Dortmund . In the first season at the Rote Erde stadium , the newcomer made eleven games with one goal. Getting used to the higher level of performance at Borussia and the Oberliga took time to adapt and develop. In the European Cup of National Champions 1957/58 he was coached by Hans Tauchert on December 29, 1957 in the playoff in Bologna against the Army Club Bucharest in a 3-1 victory - Dulz scored the 1-0 lead in the 15th minute - as well as in the 1: 4 defeat at AC Milan on March 26, 1958. In both encounters, the BVB attack formed with Dulz, Alfred Preissler , Alfred Kelbassa , Aki Schmidt and Alfred Niepieklo . In the second season, "Schorsch" Dulz 1958/59 with 25 missions and nine goals belonged to the regular line-up of Borussia Dortmund, where the offensive talent Friedhelm Konietzka made his first attempts at walking in the Oberliga West with eight missions and six goals. After 36 games with 10 goals, the time at Borussia ended in the summer of 1959 and Dulz signed a contract in the Oberliga Süd with SSV Reutlingen .

In the stadium at the Kreuzeiche he scored twelve goals each in the rounds of 1959/60 and 1960/61. Together with goalkeeper Karl Bögelein and Ulrich Biesinger , he finished fifth in the table in 1961 behind the champions 1. FC Nuremberg, Eintracht Frankfurt, Karlsruher SC and Kickers Offenbach. After 75 missions with 29 goals for Reutlingen, he signed a new contract for the 1962/63 round with Hamburger SV in the Oberliga Nord and moved from the Swabian Alb to the Alster. With the series champions of the Oberliga Nord - title wins from 1955 to 1962 - Dulz got into the sporty offside. He was not used in the last round of the league era. Coach Helmuth Johannsen from Eintracht Braunschweig gave the player who could be used in the storm as well as in the midfield a new chance and signed Dulz to start the Bundesliga in 1963/64.

Bundesliga, 1963 to 1968

Johannsen immediately placed his trust in Dulz, who was spurned by HSV, on August 24, 1963, on the day the new league started, at the away game at 1860 Munich, and formed his attack with Klaus Gerwien , Gerhard Schrader , Jürgen Moll , Helmut Hosung and "Schorsch" Dulz. Braunschweig managed a 1-1 draw with the favored southern champions of 1963 and thus a successful debut in the Bundesliga. At the end of the round, Lower Saxony finished eleventh and Dulz had scored four goals in 23 games. After the following places nine (1965) and ten (1966) there was nothing to indicate the sensational success in the fourth year of the Bundesliga, 1966/67: In the season preview, like every round before, Dulz and his comrades were among the aspirants for the relegation ranks. Coach Johannsen led Braunschweig to the German championship with a continuously growing team. The guarantee was the outstanding defense with only 27 goals against in 34 round games. Defending champion 1860 Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt landed in the places. In the Eintracht Stadium on Hamburger Strasse, the new champions only lost the Lower Saxony derby against Hannover 96 with 0-1 goals. “Schorsch” Dulz, who celebrated his 30th birthday in the preliminary round, played a “key role” in the system of coach Johannsen's team. He was constantly oscillating between defense and attack and was the technical impulse generator on the side of the strong cover Walter Schmidt and the goal-threatening Lothar Ulsaß (15 goals). Dulz played 32 games and scored five goals.

Dulz was part of the Eintracht team in all three encounters in the 1967/68 European Cup against Juventus Turin . In the first leg on January 31, 1968 he managed the 2-1 opening goal, in Turin he experienced a 0-1 defeat with his teammates by a converted penalty in the 88th minute and in the decider on March 20 in Bern he tried in vain to compensate for the loss of Lothar Ulsaß in the renewed 1-0 defeat. On May 18, 1968, Hans-Georg Dulz played his last Bundesliga game in the 2-0 defeat at Borussia Mönchengladbach. From 1963 to 1968 he played 109 games with 15 goals for Eintracht Braunschweig.

He ended his playing career in 1968/69 with his involvement with FC Aarau in the Brügglifeld stadium in the National League A.
