Hans-Georg Landfermann
Hans-Georg Landfermann (* 1941 in Erfurt ) is a German lawyer.
Life
Landfermann studied law and received his doctorate in 1967 from the University of Freiburg. He initially worked as a judge in North Rhine-Westphalia, then worked as a researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg. In 1972 he moved to the Federal Ministry of Justice , where he was most recently sub-department head for commercial and economic law. From 1987 to 1993 he lectured on insolvency law at the University of Strasbourg and the Free University of Berlin. From February 1, 2000 he was President of the German Patent and Trademark Office . From July 1, 2001 until his retirement on April 28, 2006, he was President of the Federal Patent Court in Munich.
