Hans-Hermann Gockel (born February 19, 1954 in Bielefeld ) is a German journalist and television presenter .

Life

Hans-Hermann Gockel completed after high school , a study of the law and economics . Then he began a traineeship at the Westfalen-Blatt and wrote for various daily newspapers. In 1982 he became production manager at local television "teuto Tele". From 1984 he worked for the private channels Sat.1 and RTL , where he reported as a correspondent from North Rhine-Westphalia .

1 October 1987 changed Gockel into the newsroom of Sat.1 and moderated first the newly formed Sat.1 breakfast television and the car magazine Automobil . From 1995 he was also the moderator of the weekend editions of the Sat.1 news . He also presented the knowledge quiz Everyone against Everyone in 1996 and the report magazine People in Dangerous Life in 1997 .

After leaving Sat.1 in August 2004, he moderated news programs on the news channel N24 until 2010 . Gockel has been working as a freelance journalist and producer since the end of 2011.

He lives in Bielefeld- Dornberg . Gockel has been a sponsor of the Bielefeld soccer club TuS Dornberg since 1999 .

politics

Gockel is a sympathizer of the AfD and gives lectures at party events. In 2015, after protests, a reading of his book Finale Germany, published by his own publishing house, was canceled.
