Hans-Joachim Sander

Hans-Joachim Sander (* 1959 in Saarland ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

The miner's son studied mathematics , physics , Catholic theology and history in Bonn , Trier , Jerusalem and Würzburg from 1979 to 1985 . He obtained his MA in theology in 1985. From 1985 to 1987 he taught as a part-time teacher at the Julianum study seminar . From 1987 to 1988 he was visiting scholar at the Center for Process Studies in Claremont . He has been married since 1988. After receiving his doctorate in theology at the University of Würzburg in 1990, he was assistant professor and associate professor at the Institute for Systematics of Theology there from 1990 to 2001. After completing his habilitation in 1997 at the University of Würzburg, he taught as a private lecturer in Würzburg from 1997 to 2002 and as a professor in Eichstätt and Salzburg from 1998 to 2002 , where he has been Professor of Dogmatics since 2002.

His main research interests and research interests are the second Vatican Council , topology of religion and spatial turning in divine speeches, juxtaposition of power and powerlessness in the Christian faith, theological agenda of loci theologici alieni and theology of the signs of the times .
