Hans-Jochen Fröhner

Hans-Jochen Fröhner (born November 11, 1935 in Berlin ; † May 28, 2016 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Fröhner completed his secondary school leaving certificate and then attended a higher business school. He did an apprenticeship as a film clerk and worked as a cinema director until 1960 . He later worked as a commercial clerk at Bewag .

In 1961 Fröhner joined the SPD. In the Berlin election in 1967 he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives. He initially worked in Parliament until 1981 and then moved up again for six months in 1984, as Reinhold Amonat resigned his seat.
