Hans-Jochen Röhrig

Hans-Jochen Röhrig (born August 2, 1943 in Leipzig ) is a German actor .

Career

After training as a librarian, Röhrig completed his acting studies at the “Hans Otto” theater school in Leipzig . He had his first engagements at the Städtisches Theater Leipzig from 1971 to 1973 and at the Stadttheater Plauen from 1973 to 1977. From 1977 to 2008 Röhrig was a member of the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam . In the 2006/2007 season he played Mylius in the world premiere of Katte by Thorsten Becker, Professor Manfred Gollwitz in The Robbery of the Sabine Women by Franz and Paul von Schönthan and Count Georg von Sparren in Prince Friedrich von Homburg by Heinrich von Kleist.
In addition, for many years he led numerous reading series at the Hans Otto Theater, such as B. “Märkische Matineen” and “Märkische Leselust”.

From 2008 to 2009 he was in the telenovela Paths to Happiness as Ludwig Adam in 242 episodes.

Today Röhrig lives with his wife, stage manager at the Hans Otto Theater, in Wilhelmshorst near Potsdam .

Awards

For his artistic achievements and special services to the Hans Otto Theater, Röhrig received the Potsdamer Theaterpreis 2005 on March 15, 2005 from the support group of the Hans Otto Theater.
