Hans-Martin Taesch

Hans-Martin Taesch (born April 2, 1937 in Prettin ; † February 12, 2011 ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1990 to 2002 he was a member of the Saxony-Anhalt state parliament .

Education and life

Hans-Martin Taesch attended elementary school in Prettin and did an apprenticeship in the building trade. After attending the vocational school in Torgau and the construction school in Zittau , he became a civil engineer in 1957, a master carpenter in 1959 and a master mason in 1960. In 1976 he became a checking engineer for building supervision and in 1990 a licensed building expert. From 1957 to 1960 he worked as a site manager on construction sites in Leuna / Bitterfeld, from 1960 to 1965 as the collective manager of building construction projects in Cottbus and from 1965 to 1975 at the Jessen building trade as a construction manager and department manager. From 1975 to 1990 he was the head of building supervision in the Jessen district and building department.

Hans-Martin Taesch was of Protestant denomination and married. He had two children.

Hans-Martin Taesch had been a member of the CDU since 1958 and a member of the district committee there since 1972. 1970 to 1985 he was a city councilor in Jessen and chairman of the building commission there. In the first free local elections in 1990, he became a member of the district council and councilor and chairman of the supervisory board of Jessener Bau GmbH. He was directly elected to the state parliament in the first state election in Saxony-Anhalt in 1990 in the state electoral district Wittenberg II - Jessen (WK 22). In the state parliament he was chairman of the committee for regional planning, urban development and housing. In the state elections in 1994 he was able to defend his constituency mandate, in the state elections in 1998 he was not immediately elected, but on February 1, 2002 he succeeded Gudrun Schnirch in the state parliament.

He died on February 12, 2011.
