Hans-Peter Hussong

Hans-Peter Hussong (born March 11, 1955 in St. Ingbert ) is a German chef .

Career

After completing his training, Hussong went to the "Schatzalp" restaurant in Davos in 1972, to the "Quellenhof" in the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz in Bad Ragaz in 1973 and to Horst Petermann's "Ascolago" in Ascona in 1974 . In 1976 he moved to the "Hotel Palace" in Berlin and in 1981 again to the "Hotel Ascolago" in Ascona.

In 1985 he became head chef at the "Osteria Delea" in Losone , and in 1987 at the "Hotel Ascolago" in Ascona .

Since 1990 he has been in charge of the "Wirtschaft zum Wiesengrund" in Uetikon , which he took over in 1998 with his wife. Here he was awarded two stars in the Michelin Guide for many years . His cuisine was rated with one star in the 2017 Michelin Guide. Hussong announced that it would close its restaurant in late March 2018.
