Hans-Peter Mentzel (born September 7, 1957 ) is a German soccer player who played in the 2nd Bundesliga North for Bayer 05 Uerdingen , SV Arminia Hannover and SC Fortuna Köln .

Career

In 1976 he moved from the U-19s of FC Schalke 04 to the first team. A year later he left the team again in the direction of Uerdingen , which was playing in the 2nd division at that time. After two seasons there, he had a total of 42 goals and three goals. For the 1979/80 season he stayed in the league, but moved to Arminia in Hanover . Due to the relegation at the end of the same season, he left Hanover with 20 appearances and two goals but then again and turned to the Cologne Fortuna. Then he moved to Viktoria Goch and accompanied the team in a large section of their amateur league Oberrhein time up to 1985. In that year he moved again to SC 08 Schiefbahn in Willich .
