Hans-Peter Obwaller (born June 17, 1971 ) is a former Austrian cyclist .

Hans-Peter Obwaller began his career in 2001 with the Stabil Steiermark cycling team . In June he won his first stage in the Saxony Tour . The following year he won a stage in the Tour of Austria . In total, he was Austrian champion nine times: four times road cycling mountain champion, once champion in road time trial and four times champion in MTB hillclimb .
