Hans-Wolrad Dolling

Hans-Wolrad Dölling (born February 14, 1916 ; † after 1970) was a German officer in the Air Force of the Wehrmacht and later in the Air Force of the Bundeswehr . He retired as brigadier general .

Life

Dölling joined the army of the Wehrmacht on April 1, 1935 and served in the infantry . On November 1, 1936, he switched to the Air Force and completed an observer course in the Tutow Air Force. He then moved to April 15, 1937 as an observer to the I. Group of Kampfgeschwader 257 before taking part in the Spanish Civil War on October 25, 1937 with the Condor Legion . Dölling joined the German Air Force in 1956 and was Colonel Chief of Staff of the 2nd Air Force Division from 1968 to 1970 . He retired as brigadier general.
