Hans Büchel

Hans Büchel (born October 11, 1893 in Ottensoos ; † June 7, 1961 there ) was a German farmer and politician, and a member of the Bavarian Senate .

Büchel attended elementary school and the agricultural school in Hersbruck . After serving in the military, he was used in the military hospital during World War I. In 1926 he married into a hop-growing business with a hop trade. From 1918 to 1933 he was a member of the farmers ' union , which in 1921 became the Bavarian Landbund and the Reichslandbund , as well as Gauführer of the Bavarian Junglandbund as well as a member of the Bavarian federal board and the German board of the Reichslandbund in Berlin. After he was arrested several times in 1933, he resigned from all offices. In 1945 he was elected mayor of his home town Ottensoos. At the Bavarian Community Day , he was a member of the state committee and deputy chairman of the Central Franconia district association . From 1947 to 1957 he was a member of the Bavarian Senate as a representative of the municipalities and municipal associations. Politically, he was involved in the FDP , for which he ran unsuccessfully in the Bundestag election in 1949 in the Schwabach constituency .
