Hans Buhmann

Hans Buhmann (born March 21, 1936 in Schenefeld ; † March 11, 2008 ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Buhmann attended high school, completed an agricultural training course, passed the master craftsman's examination, was a qualified engineer (agr.) And qualified financial economist ( FH ). In 1960 he joined the CDU. Professionally, from 1967 he was managing director of the German farmers' association in the Steinburg district, from 1974 as district association director.

In 1970 he was elected community representative of the Schenefeld and was mayor from 1974. In 1970 he was also elected to the district council of the Steinburg district, to which he belonged until 1990. From 1975 to 1992 he was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament . In 1975, 1979 and 1983 he was directly elected in the Steinburg-Süd state electoral district; in the following two legislative periods he entered the state parliament via the CDU state list .

He was a member of a number of committees, including the Schoenberg Landfill Investigation Committee in 1986 and the Barschel / Pfeiffer Investigation Committee in 1987/1988, which investigated the Barschel affair . In 1989 he took part in the 9th Federal Assembly.

Buhmann was married and had two children.
