Hans Delfosse
Hans Delfosse (born March 31, 1950 in Bonn ) is a German painter and graphic artist .
life and work
After elementary school, Hans Delfosse first completed a craft training. In 1968 he began to study free graphics at the Cologne factory schools , from 1971 the art and design department at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences . After his time as a master student with Alfred Will, he worked there as a lecturer for free graphics. Since 1981 he has been working as a freelance painter, since 1990 in his studio in Nümbrecht -Hömel.

Honors
In 2008, Hans Delfosse received the Art Promotion Prize of the City of Overath, together with Jiří Nečas. In the same year the Cologne cameraman and photographer Manfred Förster dedicated one of his artist books to him . The city of Bonn honored Hans Delfosse with the award of the August Macke Medal 2016 .
