Hans Dietrich Erichsen (born April 29, 1924 in Patschkau , Upper Silesia ; † February 6, 1999 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a German architect and politician for the Greens .

Life and politics

Hans Dietrich Erichsen was an architect in Freiburg . He was close to the goals of anthroposophy and also supported the establishment of institutions with an anthroposophical background. As a builder, however, he was also involved in the construction of large housing estates in Freiburg.

Erichsen was nominated in 1980 by the Greens in Freiburg and the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district as a candidate in the Freiburg I state electoral district and was one of six members of the first green state parliament group in the following legislative period. On June 4, 1980, Erichsen was proposed by the Green group chairman Wolf-Dieter Hasenclever as an opposing candidate for Lothar Späth for the office of Prime Minister . He only received three votes because three members of the Greens, including Erichsen himself, were at a demonstration in Gorleben at the time of the state parliament session . In view of the changed political orientation of the state green party and the Freiburg district association, Erichsen decided not to run again for the election in 1984 and then withdrew from political life.
