Hans Dippel (born January 11, 1893 in Oberaula , † April 11, 1945 in Korbach ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ) and SA leader .

Live and act

After attending elementary school and secondary school in Kassel , Dippel completed an apprenticeship in banking. From 1914 he took part in the First World War with the 5 Dragoon Regiment . In October 1916 he was transferred to the 71st Infantry Regiment. After he was seriously wounded by a chest-lung shot in 1917, he was promoted to lieutenant in the reserve in December of the same year. In January 1919 he was discharged from the army. During the war he was also awarded the Iron Cross of both classes, the Wound Badge and the Schwarzburger-Sonderhauser-Ehrenkreuz III. Class excellent.

In 1928 Dippel joined the NSDAP and the Sturmabteilung (SA). He held his first public office from 1929 to 1933 as a city councilor and deputy in Korbach. From February to February 1933 he led the SA 47 Brigade in Kassel. He then headed the staff of the Lower Saxony SA group in Hanover until August 1935 . In August 1935 he became head of department at the Supreme SA leadership , in which, among other things, he was in charge of the sports badge headquarters. Dippel achieved the rank of group leader within the SA in 1943.

In January 1938 Dippel became district chairman of the NSDAP in the Hessen-Nassau district .

From November 1933 until the end of the Nazi regime in the spring of 1945, Dippel was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 19 (Hessen-Nassau) .
