Hans F. Nöhbauer

Hans F. Nöhbauer (born October 28, 1929 in Pfarrkirchen ; † January 28, 2014 in Munich ) was a German journalist , editor and writer . Nöhbauer lived in Munich for a long time; there he was a member of the tower scribe and the toucan circle .

Nöhbauer studied philosophy, literature and newspaper studies at the LMU Munich and received his doctorate in 1956 on "Literary criticism and journals 1885-1914". After completing his doctorate, he decided to work in journalism and completed a traineeship at Dachauer Anzeiger . After a stop at Münchner Merkur in Dachau, Nöhbauer switched to Bayerischer Rundfunk , where he was responsible for the evening show . He later moved to the Süddeutsche Zeitung, among others . At times he was also head editor of the Droemer Knaur publishing house and a freelance author. Nöhbauer wrote numerous articles and books mainly about Bavarian history and culture as well as the Wittelsbacher .
