Until the church is planted

Dietrichspurch was first mentioned around 1130 and was later called Jedersburg , and finally Dietersburg from 1886. It belonged to the Landshut Rent Office and to the Parish Churches Regional Court of the Electorate of Bavaria .

In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria , today's municipality was created with the municipal edict of 1818 .

19th and 20th centuries

The parish Dietersburg was established in 1829. On April 4, 1886, the then community name Jedersburg was officially changed to Dietersburg .

In 1975 the Bavarian government ordered the dissolution of the Dietersburg community and the incorporation of the districts into three different neighboring communities in accordance with their plans for regional reform . The municipality was able to stop this project with a regulatory review application to the Bavarian Administrative Court. An administrative partnership with the communities Johanniskirchen and Egglham was only formed on May 1, 1978 , but it was dissolved again on January 1, 1980.
