Culture and sights

In addition to numerous old Rottal farmhouses, two sacred buildings determine the appearance of the village: the Catholic parish church of St. Maria and St. Philip and Jacob from the early 14th century and the pilgrimage chapel to the Gnadenbrünnlein from the 18th century.

The early Gothic parish church has a neo-Gothic interior. In the high altar is a beautiful late Gothic Madonna , probably the old miraculous image. The pilgrimage chapel is attached to the church. It contains votive pictures .
