Hans Fritsche (soccer player)

Hans "Hannes" Fritsche (born March 3, 1950 in Oberhausen ) is a former German football player and editor .

Career

Fritsche played as a youth for his hometown club Rot-Weiß Oberhausen , for which he then also made his first appearances as a senior in the Regionalliga West in the 1968/69 season . Under coach Adi Preißler , Fritsche's team was promoted to the Bundesliga in 1969 . There the offensive player secured a permanent place in the squad after a short start-up period in the 1969/70 season . He was used in 20 games and scored seven goals. In his second Bundesliga year, however, things went much worse: In 15 games, he didn't score a single goal.

Fritsche spent the remaining years of his career at clubs in the second highest German league. After one season each with the regional league clubs VfL Osnabrück (1971/72) and Karlsruher SC (1972/73), he moved back to the Ruhr area. In the newly founded 2. Bundesliga North , he stormed for Schwarz-Weiß Essen . He scored 54 goals for the ETB in three years. In the 1975/76 season he was the second best shooter in the northern season with 22 hits. He then left the club, which was plagued by financial problems, and joined Fortuna Cologne . Further stations were Westfalia Herne and FC Homburg until 1981 . In the all-time list of goalscorers in the 2nd Bundesliga, Fritsche is 29th with 87 goals, tied with Michael Preetz .

In 1981, after the end of his footballer career, Fritsche changed sides and became a journalist. After finishing his training at in Essen appearing Neue Ruhr Zeitung , he became Deputy Head of there sports desk . He was in charge of reporting on the national soccer team until he took over the management of the Oberhausen local editorial team at the beginning of 2007 , which he held until spring 2010. On September 1, 2010 he took over the office of managing director of the CDU parliamentary group in the Oberhausen city council. Since December 1, 2015, he has been the press spokesman and office manager for the Lord Mayor of Oberhausen, Daniel Schranz . NRW Transport Minister Michael Groschek called the new OB spokesman " Propaganda Minister ".
