Hans G. Jensen

Hans G. Jensen (born March 13, 1856 in Horsens , Denmark , † September 7, 1922 in Oslo ) was a Norwegian politician and trade unionist .

Life

Jensen became chairman of the Norwegian Workers' Party ( Det norske Arbeiderparti ) from 1888 to 1889 after working as a pioneer and activist in the Norwegian labor and trade union movement .

He was also the founding chairman of the Norwegian Federation of Trade Unions ( Landsorganisasjonen i Norge ) from 1899 to 1900. He resigned from his post as chairman of the (Landsorganisasjonen i Norge) after a dispute over the organizational form of the unions .

The dispute was about the question: "Regional unions or professional organizations".
