Hans Georg Heimel
Hans Georg Heimel (* 1927 in Kassel ; † April 24, 2015 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German architect .
Life
Heimel studied architecture at the Technical University of Darmstadt between 1948 and 1952 and initially worked with Heinrich Bartmann in Darmstadt . He later worked in Düsseldorf for Rudolf Wolters' office and between 1958 and 1961 in Frankfurt am Main for Otto Apel . In 1961 he started his own business. Heimel became known for his church buildings. Later he concentrated on building the hospital. In 1999 Heimel handed over the architecture office to his son. Hans Georg Heimel died on April 24, 2015 at the age of 87.
