Hans Georg Wäßerling
Hans Georg Wäßerling (born March 27, 1925 in Hanover ) is a German high-frequency technician . In 1977 he was President of the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Hamburg .
Life
Wäßerling studied electrical engineering at the Technical University of Hanover from 1949 to 1955 . In 1963 he was at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Hannover with a thesis on the measurement of mechanical error of magnetic tape drives, and its impact on stored video signals to Dr.-Ing. PhD.
From 1974 to 1990, Wäßerling was professor for high frequency technology at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Hamburg. In 1977 he was acting president of the Bundeswehr University.
